This Week's Program

The program for this meeting was a presentation on Spartan Racing by Robbie Thedford.

Robbie told us about his experience with the Spartan program and how it has improved his health and weight.  He said anyone can participate in Spartan races and that you can never be too old.  He related how one friend is 83 and participated in the Houston race the prior weekend.

Robbie told us strength is a struggle, and he was impressed how everyone helps others to complete the racecourse.  He said getting over obstacles and increasing your race length are victories you remember.  He just completed his first 32-mile race!  He showed us the medal he received for this accomplishment, and other medals he received for other racing achievements.

Robbie urged members to consider attending Spartan races that will be California soon.  He did questions and answers with club members.

Thanks Robbie, for sharing you Spartan Racing experience with us!
