Senior Legal Services is a law office for seniors over 60+ years of age with offices in Watsonville and Hollister.  They handled over 800 cases in 2024. Started in 1972, they have become a model for the creation on other similar offices throughout the country.

They are supported by government grants and local community non-profits.  Clients do not pay for any of their legal services.

Some of the legal issues they provide services for are: elder abuse and fraud, Medicare and Medi-Cal, social security, age discrimination, debt collection, tenant rights, power of attorney, and advanced health care directive.

Rosalina reported that over 50% of their cases are related to housing and eviction issues.
