The meeting was called to order by President Larry Barr at 12:15 PM.
 
Esther Curtice led the club in the Pledge of Allegiance. 
 
Esther Curtice gave the Thought for the Day.
 
Announcements
 
President Larry Barr asked all members to reserve the date of May 16th on their calendar for the 100 Year Anniversary of the Hollister Rotary Club dinner.  It will be held at Swank's Barn.  More details to follow.
 
Larry also reminded the club of the Richard King Celebration of Life to be held on February 2nd at the Blackhawk Museum.  Tickets are $150 and will go towards the Richard King Foundation. Stephanie Urchick, current President of Rotary International will the keynote speaker. 
 
 
Raffle by Dave Baumgartner:
 
Jeff Modic had the ticket for the Small Deck and the pot was worth $ 90.  Jeff did not pick the winning card but won a bottle of wine.
 
Bob Tiffany had the ticket for the Large Deck worth $140.  Bob did not pick a winning card but also received a bottle of wine.
 
Detective:  There was no detective for this meeting.  Time was spent on planning for Mission 10.

This Week's Program
 
The was no program for today's meeting so that we could use the time for Mission 10 planning and discussion.
 
Bill Tiffany reviewed the schedule of when race would begin.  He also discussed when volunteers need to arrive to setup the registration area and other details. Bill reported that over 700 people have registered for the races.
 
 Larry Shaw went over the setup for road barriers, water and cup distribution, and security measures. 
 
Jayme Stewart discussed the assignments and asked for more volunteers.  If you have not signed up yet, please call Jayme at 831-801-0394.  We need all the volunteers we can get on Saturday. 
 
 
 
NEXT WEEK'S PROGRAM
 
Our next meeting is on Monday, January 27, 2025 at Paine's Restaurant.  The meeting will start at 12 Noon and lunch will be available at 11:45 AM.
 
The program for this meeting will be a presentation by Austen Curtis and Tammy Avila on the current resources and plans for the San Benito County Library.
