The meeting was called to order by President Rich Marcus. at 12:15. Esther Curtice led the club in the Pledge of Allegiance. Larry Shaw gave the Thought for the Day.
Announcements:
Larry Shaw reported that the next golf outing will be on Monday, June 3rd. First tee time at 2 PM. Friends and family are all welcome to play. Just notify Larry.
Byran Yamaoka reminder everyone about the San Benito County Rodeo June 28-30th. Bryan will be asking for volunteers to work in the concession booths inside and outside the arena.

Raffle winners were Bill Baker, drawing for $79, and Jim Pleyte drawing for $118. Both did not pick a winning card.
Detective:
Bryan Yamaoka was the detective for this week. He fined members for not being able to give the correct answers on significant dates and trivia about Godzilla.
Bill Baker was fined $5 for not knowing the importance of the date May 4, 1995. It was the date he joined Rotary.
Robbie Thedford paid $5 to because he did not know what happened on May 23, 2023. It was the date he became a member of the Hollister Rotary Club.
Esther Curtice paid $5 because she did know the date the Godzilla of the first Godzilla movie. It was 1954.
Jim Pleyte was fined $5 for not able to give the number of Godzilla movies to date. The answer is 38.
Gordan Machado paid $5 to learn the nickname of Godzilla. It is King of Monsters.
Larry Shaw was not able to answer the name of Godzilla baby. The answer was Little Godzilla.
Jeff Modic paid $5 because he did not know the cost of the Godzilla suit. It cost $180,000.
Jayme Stewart was asked to give the gender of Godzilla. She paid $5 to learn it was first neutral and now male.
Kristina Wyatt was asked if Godzilla is reptile or amphibian. She paid $5 for the correct answer, amphibian.
Kyle Sharp paid $5 because he did know the Godzilla best weapon. Bad breath.
Dave Westrick was asked the date Godzilla got on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. He paid $5 to learn it was 2004.
Chang So paid $5 because he could not name the two monster movies that Steven Spielberg directed. They are Jurassic Park and Jaws.
Bryan ended his detective by telling us about the death of Jim Otto who played in 210 games for the Oakland Raiders, had 70 surgeries, three post op infections and had his leg amputated. He was a beloved Raider.
