The Rotary Club of Hollister is excited to be participating in this year's second annual San Benito GIVES campaign, raising funds in partnership with the Community Foundation for San Benito County with 1:1 Matching funds by a generous grant from the Monterey Peninsula Foundation and media partnerships with Benitolink and Mission Village Voice. Funds donated to the SB GIVES campaign will go towards the Rotary Club of Hollister's Scholarship and Charitable Giving Fund. 

 

San Benito GIVES is a 24-hour fundraising effort powered by Mighty Cause (formerly Razoo) and hosted by the Community Foundation for San Benito County to raise awareness of our local nonprofits and the needs facing their clients on a daily basis. It is an opportunity for donors to discover these needs through a single, online donation platform (sanbenitogives.razoo.com) and then give from their heart to the charitable causes they care about the most.  

 

We encourage and invite Rotarians and everyone in the community to contribute to our SB GIVES campaign so we can make a greater impact on funding college scholarships and community service programs. Please share with friends and family. 

 

Wine Down with us on Wednesday, May 16th at The GardenShoppe for some delicious wines, craft beers, fun & fellowship. Please bring a side or appetizer to share. You don't have to be a Rotary member to join us. Everyone is welcome. (Must be 21+) 

On May 7th the Rotary Club of Hollister honored the following 10 students from San Benito High School who had achieved Student of the Month for the Spring Semester.  All of the students gave a quick introduction about themselves and talked about their high school experiences and their future goals. 

 

 

Each of the students were entered into a raffle to win a laptop computer. Congrats to Adam Arrington who was the lucky winner of the draw. The remaining students were given Amazon gift cards and certificates of recognition for their outstanding achievements. We are always so proud to see our youth making great strides in the community and reaching for the stars. 

Hollister Rotary teamed up this year with the Hollister Downtown Association to help with their Annual Downtown Spring Cleanup on April 21st. Thanks so much to all of you Rotarians who came out on their Saturday morning to participate in this year's community service project. 
 

The District 5170 Conference will be June 1st-3rd, 2018 at San Jose State University.
