On Monday, May 19th, the Rotary Club of Hollister held an inspiring meeting dedicated to celebrating the outstanding achievements of Hollister High School's Students of the Month from the second half of the academic year. This cherished tradition, now proudly in its 20th year, underscores the club's long-standing commitment to supporting and recognizing the youth of our community.
During the special luncheon, Rotary members had the distinct pleasure of hosting these exceptional seniors. The students shared their exciting and ambitious plans for college and future careers, impressing everyone present with their passion and vision for the future.
Adding a meaningful touch to the occasion, Hollister High School Superintendent Shawn Tennenbaum and Principal Kevin Medeiros attended the event. They presented Rotary Club of Hollister President Larry Barr with a thoughtful "Habayler token gift" as a gesture of appreciation for the club's continuous and unwavering support of Hollister High School's youth. The Rotary Club extends its sincere thanks for this kind recognition.
The excitement continued as all recognized students were entered into a raffle for a chance to win a brand new iPad. The club was delighted to announce two lucky winners who went home with the coveted tech prize.
