Rotary Club of Hollister Celebrates 90th Anniversary in Gatsby Spirit

We had a fun an festive night on Monday, June 8th celebrating the founding of our club in 1925.  The famous book "The Great Gatsby" by F. Scott Fitzgerald was published in 1925, which was the inspiration for the theme of the celebration. Many members and guests came dressed in the period inspired attire and had a lot of fun in the photo booth.

We learned that Rotary's own Founder Paul Harris was once a Hay Baler. We recognized our longest attending members, Past Presidents and awarded the Rotarian of the Year Award to Past President Jayme Stewart. We heard from and were congratulated by District Governor Ed Jellen. We were graced with the presence of Assistant Governor Gregg Giusiana and his lovely wife Chris, Past District Governor John Fisher, and District Governor Elect Jeff Orth and his lovely wife Barbara. Many others from the community came out to celebrate with us and we hope everyone enjoyed themselves.
