The Rotary Club of Hollister is incredibly proud to announce its substantial contribution to the future of San Benito County students, awarding an impressive $61,000 in scholarships for 2025! This significant investment underscores our club's unwavering commitment to fostering education and empowering the next generation.
This achievement is something the club can truly be proud of, demonstrating our ongoing dedication to supporting the academic pursuits of local youth.
A total of $31,000 was awarded directly by the Rotary Club of Hollister to 31 deserving students, with each scholarship valued at $1,000. These scholarships were announced by the high schools at the end of May.
In addition to the club's direct contributions, we are thrilled to be the host club for a District 5170 Global Grant Scholarship, which provided an additional $30,000 to Alexandra Gallo, a standout Class of 2013 alumna from Hollister High School. This Global Grant is funded by District Designated Funds, demonstrating a broader Rotary commitment to impactful educational support.
