Sue McKinney, Director of Crila Health, is a California attorney and Vietnam business development consultant, who has been living and working in Vietnam since 1994. Sue has exported thousands of high quality products from Vietnam to well-known American companies such as Costco. Sue is the co-author of an upcoming book, The King’s Herb, based on the history of Traditional Vietnamese Medicine from the 14th century to the present.

Sue has had the pleasure of witnessing and taking part in the dynamic economic and social growth that Vietnam has experienced in the past 17 years; and has been the in-country liaison on many Rotary projects there. Active on the Executive Board of Operation Smile Vietnam for 9 years, Sue helped raise the funds to provide facial surgery to nearly 20,000 children. She has helped to raise funds and facilitate Rotary Club projects in Vietnam to
 
  • distribute over 1,000 wheelchairs build 3 libraries
  • fund orphanage programs
  • construct a home for unwed mothers with a Helping Grant from The Rotary Foundation
  • fund a women’s micro-credit project with another RI Foundation Helping Grant
  • organize the Vietnamese side of 5 GSE Teams between the US and Vietnam (including a team from District 6900).
