November 4, 2013 - Upcoming Speaker: Lacey M. Raak - Sustainability Director, University of California Santa Cruz

Prior to her current position as the UC Santa Cruz Sustainability Director, Lacey worked for the City of Monterey on various sustainability programs including developing their first draft Climate Action Plan, the Bicycle Transportation Plan and coordination of the Safe Routes to School Program.  In 2010, Lacey was a Fulbright Scholar to Indonesia where she researched local implementation of their National Sustainable Development Strategy.  Born and raised in Minnesota, Lacey holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Minnesota and a Master's Degree in International Environmental Policy from the Monterey Institute of International Studies.
