June 2, 2014 - Andy Hsia-Coron will be joining us to speak about San Benito Rising, a Grassroots Group working to ban Fracking and lead in green development for San Benito County.
Andy is one of the founders of San Benito Rising-the grassroots group that has launched a citizens initiative to ban fracking and is advancing
proposals for green development in San Benito County, California. Andy was trained as a biologist at UC Santa Cruz. He taught in prisons, universities
and high schools. He was a union negotiator and a President of a School Board. He is credentialed to teach Biology, Chemistry, Math, Social Studies
and Health. He lives in a Passive/Active Solar house that he helped design and is now helping to design the first Passive House/ Net Positive House in
San Benito County and helping to make San Juan Bautista a model green city/The City of History/ City of the Future.
