Congratulations to our 2019-2020 President, Jim Fosdick for a great start to the new Rotary Year. Here are a few fun facts about our new leader.
President Jim Fosdick grew up in Birmingham, Alabama. He has a twin sister (Sue); Is a Warrior Fan; avid skier and golfer; country music fan, enjoys and collects great wines; favorite food is Calamari, owns a Harley; enjoys spending time with his family and grandchildren; just became a grandfather to his first grandson in December; also has 4 granddaughters.
Jim started his State Farm Insurance career in Lexington Nebraska in 1976 and moved to California in 1984 where he then opened his State Farm agency in Hollister in 1989. He is a member of Lifetime President club, received his LUTC and LUTCF designations. He specializes in Insurance and Financial Services. Has won numerous awards during his State Farm career, including Agent of the Year several times.
President Fosdick joined Rotary in 1985 while living in Scotts Valley, CA. He became a member of the Rotary Club of Hollister in 1989. He has been very active with Rotary and has served as a board member as well as received numerous Paul Harris awards for his contributions the Rotary Foundation. President Fosdick is one of the top fund raisers every year for Mission 10 bringing in thousands in Sponsorships. He also contributes to the community by donating to our non-profit organizations year after year.
