Our very own Rotary Vice President, Rotary President Elect and Chief of Police for Hollister, David Westrick has been chosen to attend the National FBI Academy 10 week training program in Quantico, Virginia. We wish you all the best and we know you'll do an amazing job! We'll miss you at Mission 10 Race, but we know you'll be on another very important and honorable mission!

Countdown to our 35th Annual Mission 10 Race on Saturday, January 27th, 2018. We will need ALL Rotarians to volunteer as well as family and friends. We also need Rotarians to run as we are having a friendly competition with Rotarians from Los Gatos and Santa Cruz Sunrise Clubs. This is going to be an exciting anniversary celebration as we are adding vendor booths and Live Music by local rock band, Racing Time. Please contact Bob Marden for volunteer sign-ups.

Each year, local high school students come to the Hollister Rotary Club to give a Rotary-themed speech for the chance of winning money and the chance to advance to the next round at the area and then district level.
The Club level contest will be Monday, January 29 2018 at our regular lunch meeting at Paine's.

High school students in San Benito County are encouraged to apply for the Rotary Club of Hollister's annual college scholarship program.
Each year, the Rotary Club of Hollister raises funds to send future leaders to college. We believe that our future is in our youth and value the investment to make our world a better place with educational boosts. Deadline to apply is March 31, 2018.
