President Elect Robert Freiri on his experience attending PETS

Incoming President Robert Freiri spent Friday, March 7th through Sunday, March 9th at the Doubletree Hotel in San Jose, CA for President Elect Training (PETS). Robert participated in sessions on Effective Communication, Creating a Vision, Membership, Budgets and Running an Effective Meeting.
Robert was grouped together with Area 6 Assistant Governor Greg Giusiana and Area 6 Presidents-Elect: Peter Anderson, Joel Goldsmith, Sue Thurman, Brian O’Neil and Art Testani. He also listened to speeches from Rotary International icons Richard King and Cliff Dochterman.
The highlight of the weekend was a general assembly presentation by International Present Elect Gary Huang. Mr. Huang is from Taipei Taiwan. Next year’s Rotary theme is “Light-Up Rotary”. Mr. Huang Lit up the Crowd with charm and wit. Robert’s personal highlight was meeting Mr. Huang at one of the hospitality suites. Robert returns to our Club better prepared for next year’s Rotary year.
