July 29, 2013 - Upcoming Speaker: Jesaiah Baer on her RYLA and American Idol Experiences

Jesaiah Baer has been singing since birth. When she was a newborn, and the
doctor spanked her, instead of crying, she sang a high A. Since then she has
spent many years developing her skills as a singer and performer. She has
performed in solo acts, stage productions, and TV. Jesaiah was just recently
featured on American Idol and got rave reviews from all the critics. Currently
she is the lead singer of her band Smith Alley.

Jesaiah comes from a Show Business background. Her distant uncle was Ramon
Navarro who was known as the Latin Rudolph Valentino. He appeared in over 50
films including Mata Hari and the starring role of the original Ben Hur in
1925. Her distant Aunt was Maria Felix who was one of the biggest stars in
Mexico. But that was a different era. Jesaiah's dream is to bring her
family's star talent into the 21st Century by introducing a jazz music
undertone from their era into a modern Folk/Rock form for today's pop culture.
