August 5, 2013 - Upcoming Speaker: Al De Vos, Gang Prevention Coordinator

Our guest presenter will highlight the “gang” problem from a national, state and local level, followed by a discussion how communities unwittingly create fertile environments that allow gangs to thrive.  Mr. De Vos will share strategies and practices that local leaders and community members can use in order to strengthen the community fabric and make it increasingly difficult for gangs to survive.  This presentation will conclude with an overview of local and ongoing efforts to prevent, intervene and suppress gang activity in San Benito County.
