I am excited to be the 2016-2017 Hollister Rotary President. I was born and raised in Hollister and a proud graduate of Spring Grove Elementary School and San Benito High School. I received my degree from Fresno State and starting my teaching career in Fresno. I returned home in 1990 after marrying my husband and started teaching at my alma matter, San Benito High School. I was blessed with a long and wonderful career as a teacher, assistant principal and principal. I was a part of the San Benito High School staff for 25 years. I was elected as the San Benito County Superintendent of Schools in January, 2015. I am passionate about our community and the education our students receive. This passion carries over as a Rotarian. I look forward to an amazing year with the support of a dynamic board. We are looking forward to building our membership, having fun, and putting together a successful Area 6 project for our community.
